Rava Ghavan in English

८ ते १० लहान घावन
वेळ: २० मिनीटे (पिठ भिजवून तयार झाल्यावर)

साहित्य:
१ कप रवा
३/४ कप दही
१/२ कप पाणी
१/२ कप कांदा, बारीक चिरलेला
१/२ कप टोमॅटो, बारीक चिरून
२ हिरव्या मिरच्या, बारीक चिरून
१/२ टिस्पून जिरे
१/२ टिस्पून आलेपेस्ट
१/४ कप कोथिंबीर, बारीक चिरून
चवीपुरते मिठ
चिमूटभर बेकींग सोडा (खायचा सोडा)
१/४ कप तेल

कृती:
१) दही आणि पाणी एकत्र करून घट्ट ताक बनवून घ्यावे. त्यात रवा घालून मिक्स करावे. लागल्यास अजून थोडे ताक घालावे. मिश्रण पातळ नको आणि खुप घट्टही नको. मिश्रण एक दिड तास झाकून ठेवून दयावे.
२) एक दिड तासांनंतर त्यात कांदा, टोमॅटो, मिरच्या, आलेपेस्ट, जिरे, कोथिंबीर, मिठ आणि बेकींग सोडा घालून मिक्स करावे.
३) नॉनस्टिक तव्यावर तेल सोडून गरम करावा. तवा गरम झाला कि १ डाव मिश्रण घालावे, फक्त पळीने पसरू नये, घावन जाडसरच ठेवावे. मिडीयम हाय फ्लेमवर तव्यावर झाकण ठेवून शिजू द्यावा. एक बाजू शिजली कि थोडे तेल घालून दुसरी बाजू भाजून घ्यावी.

गरमच असताना खावे. नारळाच्या चटणीबरोबर सर्व्ह करावे.

    He ghavan khupach tasty astat..mi he barechda kele, ani pratyekweli kahitari wegla try kela. Kahi weglepana manje.. If you want to make them a little thinner like dosa u can add 1 tbs of besan or rice flour (as a binding agent) and u can spread the mix just like we do for dosa. Ya mix madhe kanda nako aslyas ale-mirchi ani jeere bhardun ghatle tar khupach chhan taste yete!May be you have already tried this....:)

    बेकिंग सोड्यामुळे पॅनकेक छान फुलतात. नाही टाकलास तरी चालेल.. एक-दोन पॅनकेक्स करून पाहा जर आवडले तर छानच होईल.

    कमेंटसाठी धन्यवाद. प्रत्येक रेसिपीमध्ये रवा भाजायची गरज नसते. आणि जिथे भाजलेला रवा लागतो तिथे मी तसे लिहिले आहे. वरील कृतीमध्ये रवा भाजावा लागत नाही :)

    Tumchya receipe khup sopya astat... I like a dn when I try this at home gharat pan saglyana avadtat
    mi ravyache dhirade karun pahile ..taste changli hoti .pan dosyachya tavyawar kele hote.. ek tar te tavyawar neet pasarat navhate...utaltana pan ulatta yet navhate.. tavya chiktnar nahi ani dosyansaarkhe hoil yasathi ka karu. Ani rawa raatri bhijat ghatla tar chalel na? ki fakt ek deed taasach ghalu? ani mazyakade jaad rawa aahe tar mi kay karu mhanje dhirade fasnar nahit ani neet tavyawar pasarta yetil.

  31. Hi, hi recipe mi try keli. Mala baking sodyachi allergy asalyamule to ghatala nahi, baki je pramaan dile ahe, tyapramane ghatale. Taste khupach chhan hoti. Pan kartana ek problem janavala, 1-1.5 tasane jevha zakan kadhala tevha rava khupach fugala hota, mhanaje purna pani absorb zala hota, tyamule ghaavan karatana mi tyaat ayatya veli pani ghatala, pan te ravyaat nit ekjiv hou shakala nahi. Mhanaje, rava khali jaun basat hota, tar pani varach rahat hote. Tavyavar takatana pratyek veli talapasun dhavalun mag takave lagat hote ani tarhi takana pahilyanda pani padayache ani mad ravyache mishran. Tyamule kahi vela ghaavan thodese karapale jayache. Mi jaad rava vaparala hota ani maza rava mi nehami analya analya bhajun thevate, kid lagu naye mhanun. Yacha kahi parinaam zala asava ka? Thanks.

    1) dhiradyala je pith bhijavto te nehmichya ghavanasarkhe ekdum patal nasave. idli kiva uttapa sathi jevdhe daat lagte tevdhe asave. Rava nehmi pani shoshun gheto tyamule tya andajane pani ghalave lagte
    2) tasech baking sodyamule dhirde chan fultat.
    3) rava जड asalyane to talala basto. tyamule mishran dhavalunach ghyave lagte.
    4) rava bhajlyane farak padat nahi..fakt bhajlela rava jast pani shoshto..
    5) nonstick tava vaparava mhanje dhirde karpat nahi..
    mala vatte tu nantar je pani ghatles te garajepeksha jast zale. ase zale aslyas next time pith kinchit daat bhijav

    1. Kanket dudh ghalave as mhantat polya soft honyasathi pn apan mith sudha ghalto mag he combination chalte ka? dudh+mith kanik kharab hot nahi na?
    2. Pavbhajila chhan red colour yenyasathi kay karave? Bit ghatal tar tasech kacche ghalave ki ukadun?
    3. Idali changli honyasathi rice kasa asava ? mhanje kani, ki motha ? Udid dal ani tandulache pith zale ki same tyach pithache anakhi kay banvata yeil? ani kase?

    1) Polya practice ne apoap soft vhayla lagtat.. pan jar tumhala dudh vaparun jast changlya vatat asatil tar kahich harkat nahi..ani tyat mith ghatle tari chalel polya kharab honar nahit..
    2) pavbhajicha rang lal bhadak yenyasathi kashmiri lal tikhat vapra (ya tikhatala tikhatpana thoda kami asto pan rang chan yeto pavbhajila).. garaj vatlyas nehmiche lal tikhat vapra.
    3) Idli sathi kontahi tandul chalto.. tumhala chhan halkya idalya havya astil tar Idli rava vapra.
    4) Idli pithache dosa, uttappa banavta yeil.
