    hi,
Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself... im a marathi girl born and brought up in mumbai.. I am now settled in sydney.
The day i landed.. my knowledge of cooking was limited to making maggi noddles and the occasional omelette.. this worried my mom, a firm believer in the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.. hence she believed i would never get married...
But moving on... i came across your blog two months ago... and have been experimenting ever since.. not only for everyday cooking at home... but also for entertaining friends... schezwan potato being one of the favorites..
A month ago.. my mom visited me in sydney... and i have cooked her almost all the recipes i had experimented in the past.. and it has restored her belief that i might infact find a husband ;)

So.. im am sorry.. i dont know your name... but i just wanna say thank you...

    Shivangi

    Hi Vaidehi..

I wanna start by saying THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...
Great..... with that out of the way....here goes.... my wife well.. wasnt a terrible cook.. but lets say everytime we were to entertain friends..we had to go indian take out.. but.. for the last month she has been amazing me with her culinary skills..
So.. last weekend i had friends over... and she was determined this time to cook for them...
She made the best chana masala.. with roti and raita.... my friends got to a point of asking for 4th serving of the food... some even regretted being married to their own wives.
So.. I hugged my wife and told her thank you... and how did u get soo good?... and her exact reply was "Hmph !! if you wanna thank someone thank chakali blogspot."
Well.. So here i am... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU .. you are the best
