Homemade Tomato Salsa

Tomato salsa in Marathi

Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 3 to 4

Ingredients:
2 medium tomatoes, red, juicy and ripe, finely chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 green chili, deseeded
2-3 tbsp chopped cilantro
1/2 jalapeno pepper, pickled
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1/2 tsp red wine vinegar (optional) (gives good flavor)
Salt to taste
Pinch of sugar

Method:
1) Mix all the ingredients. You may give 1 quick pulse in the blender, but do not puree.

Tip:
1) If you get a can of 'petit diced tomato with lime juice and cilantro' (ROTEL brand), it will make a good salsa.
