Dahi Pohe in Marathi
Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2 persons
Ingredients:
1 cup Thick Pohe (thick flattened Rice)
1/4 to 1/2 cup Milk
1 tsp Indian Chili Pickle
3/4 cup Yogurt
Salt to taste
Method:
1) Heat milk and pour it on Pohe. Mix nicely. Keep aside for 5 minutes. This will make the Pohe become soft.
2) In a small bowl add Chili pickle and 1 tbsp yogurt. Crush the chili pickle and mix with yogurt.
3) Once the milk and pohe mixture is cold, add chili pickle-yogurt mixture, yogurt and little salt. Mix all nicely. Serve. Serve some yogurt and pickle
Note:
1) To give Cumin flavor, heat 1 tsp ghee into a small saucepan, add cumin wait for 5 to 7 seconds and pour on dahipohe. Mix and serve.
2) Another way to make Dahipohe:
Add hot milk into pohe. Mix. After 5 minutes add yogurt and mix nicely. Grind 1 green chili, salt and little cumin together. Add it to pohe according to your taste. Garnish with some cilantro.
