Corn Chowder in Marathi

Ingredients:
3/4 cup sweet corn
1/4 cup red capsicum, small cubes
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 small potato, peeled and medium cubes
2 to 4 green beans, medium pieces
3-4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/4 to 1/2 tsp red chili powder (or to taste)
2 tsp butter
2 tsp maida (all purpose flour)
3 tbsp cream
grated cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Method:
1) Steam cook sweet corn into microwave for 2 minutes.
2) Heat butter into a pan. Add potato, cover and cook for 1 minute. Add red capsicum, onion, green beans, and sweetcorns.
3) Saute for 1 or 2 minutes. Add 1 cup water. Let it boil.
4) Take 1/4 cup water into a bowl. Add maida and make a slurry. Add it to the boiling stew.
5) Add red chili powder, salt and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add cheese (keep some aside for garnish) and stir.
Serve hot into a bowl. Garnish with grated cheese. Accompany it with grilled brown bread.
