Chinese Pizza in Marathi

Time: Prep-30 Minutes | Cooking- 10 minutes

Ingredients:
2 medium pizza base
2 tsp schezwan sauce
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 sprig of green onion, finely chopped
::::Manchurian Balls::::
3/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
1/4 tsp soy sauce
2 to 3 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp maida
Salt to taste
Oil for frying balls
::::Manchurian gravy::::
2 tsp oil
1.5 tsp garlic, finely chopped
1.5 tsp ginger, finely chopped
3-4 baby corn, thick slices
1/4 cup capsicum, thin slices
2 tbsp onion, finely chopped
1 tsp corn flour + 1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp vinegar
Salt to taste

Method:
1) For manchurian balls, first mix cabbage, capsicum, garlic, ginger and salt together into a microwave safe bowl. Cover and microwave for a minute or two. Remove. Keep it covered for 5 minutes.
2) Once the vegetables cool down, squeeze out and save the water. Add soy sauce and 1 tbsp maida to vegetables. Then add corn flour little by little, till you are able to make small balls of the mixture. Do not add too much flour, as the balls sometimes remain undone in the center after frying.
3) Make small balls and fry them into hot oil over low flame. Remove them on a paper towel. Cut them into half once they cool down.
4) For gravy, heat 2 tsp oil into a kadai. Add Ginger garlic and saute. Add baby corn, chopped onion, and capsicum and saute. Add soya sauce and 1/2 to 3/4 cup water (use reserved vegetable water alongwith normal water). Add corn flour mixture and stir over medium heat. Add fried and cut manchurian balls and vinegar. Simmer for 1 or 2 minutes. Make the gravy little thick. You may add 1/2 tsp corn flour if needed.
5) Apply little schezwan sauce on pizza base. Spread manchurian gravy alongwith vegetables and manchurian balls. Sprinkle little cheese.
6) Grill pizza into microwave by selecting Grill option. Grill till the cheese melts and becomes slightly brown.
7) To get a nice crust, heat tawa and add little butter. Put grilled pizza on hot tawa (heat should be low) and let the crust form for about 2-3 minutes.
Cut and serve hot.
