Mixed beans flour in Marathi
Time: 30-40 minutes
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Matki
1/2 cup Mung
1/2 cup Masoor dal
1/2 cup Brown Chickpeas
1/4 cup Chawli
1 cup Jowar
3/4 cup Rice
1/2 cup Wheat
Method:
1) Dry roast each ingredient separately. Do not roast them longer till the color changes. Roast each of them for 2 to 3 minutes on low. Stir continuously. (read important tip no 2)
Transfer them into a flat plate. Let them cool down. Once they are completely cool, take them to flour mill to get a fine flour.
This mixed flour can be used to make delicious dhirade / Ghavan (pancakes).
Tips:
1) You may roast ingredients in microwave. Microwave each ingredient separately for 2 minutes.
2) Roasting ingredients is optional. The flour made of roasted ingredients will last longer.

They are all dry fresh from packets.. doesnt require sprouting right?

Deleteधीरड्याच्या पिठात पाणी घालून पातळसर भिजवून घ्यावे. त्यात हळद, ओवा किंवा जीरे, मीठ, मिरचीची भरड पेस्ट, कोथिंबीर, आवडत असल्यास थोडी लसूण घालून मिक्स करावे. आणि धिरडे तव्यावर घालावे.
पाण्यात भिजवण्याऐवजी ताकात भिजवले तरी चव छान आंबट येते. लसूण ऐच्छिक आहे.
