Club Sandwich in Marathi
Time: 25 minutes
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
6 bread slices
1 big tomato, sliced
1 medium cucumber, peeled and sliced
Salt and pepper
2 tsp mayonnaise
::::For Veg Pattie::::
1/2 cup carrots
1/2 cup French beans, chopped
1 medium potato, boiled and peeled
Bread crumbs
2 tsp chopped ginger-garlic
1 tsp oil
1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
2 pinches turmeric
Salt to taste
::::Other Ingredients::::
Cheese slices or grated cheese
Butter
Method:
1) Apply butter on both sides or bread slices. Put them on tawa over slow flame. they will get toasted while we prepare patties.
2) Steam cook carrot and french beans. Mince them with a knife. Heat oil into a kadai. Add turmeric powder, ginger and garlic. Saute for few seconds. Add cilantro, minced french beans and carrots and mashed potato. Add some salt and mix well. Transfer into another bowl.
3) Let this mixture cool down. Add sufficient bread crumbs. Prepare medium sized patties. Coat with bread crumbs and deep fry into oil.
4) Apply little butter on one toast. Arrange cucumber and tomatoes. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Place another bread on top. Apply some mayo. Place the fried patty on top of second bread toast. Place cheese slice followed by third bread toast.
Prepare another sandwich with the same procedure. Cut diagonally and serve along with tomato ketchup.
