Yogurt Rice in Marathi
Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1 or 2
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked rice
For tempering: 2-3 oil, 2 pinches hing, 1/4 tsp turmeric, curry leaves, 2-3 green chilies
1/4 cup green peas
1/4 cup carrot pieces
1 cup curds
Salt to taste
Coriander for garnishing
Method:
1) Mix rice and curds together. Add salt to taste.
2) Heat oil into a kadai. Add hing, turmeric powder, curry leaves and chillies. Add peas and carrot pieces. Cover and cook over slow flame.
3) Once carrot and peas are cooked, transfer this masala to a bowl. Once cold add it to curd rice
mixture. Mix well.
Tip:
1) Curds shouldn't be sour in taste.
