Tandoori Mushrooms in Marathi
Time: 30 to 40 minutes
Serving: 1 to 2
Ingredients:
10 medium sized mushrooms
1 medium onion, cut into cubes
1/4 cup yogurt
1 tbsp corn flour
1/2 tsp tandoori masala (OR garam masala)
1/4 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of Sugar
Salt to taste
Oil for brushing
1 medium onion, sliced for garnish
Method:
1) clean and cut the mushrooms. Cut into big chunks.
2) Peel and cut onion into medium cubes.
2) Prepare the marination by mixing yogurt, corn flour, coriander powder, tandoor masala, chili powder, turmeric powder, Chaat Masala, sugar and salt. (You may add other flavoring agents like kasoori methi, chopped mint leaves)
3) Marinate mushroom chunks and onion into it. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
4) Arrange them on skewers, and grill. After 4-5 minutes, apply some oil with brush. Grill further till gets smokey flavor.
5) Arrange sliced onion onto a serving plate. Sprinkle some salt and red chili powder. Drizzle some lemon juice. Put the grilled mushrooms and onion on it. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot.
