Healthy Pavbhaji in Marathi
Time: 25 to 30 minutes
Serves: 2 persons
Ingredients:
1/2 cup grated cabbage
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup finely chopped french beans
1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
1 medium potato, boiled
2 tsp garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp pavbhaji masala
Salt to taste
2 tbsp butter
Method:
1) Steam cook cabbage, carrot, french beans, and capsicum together. Mash them well.
2) Heat oil or butter into a kadai. Add garlic and saute. Add mashed vegetables, pavbhaji masala, salt
and mashed potato. Mix well. Add little water to adjust the consistency. Let it cook over low heat.
Serve bhaji along with slightly roasted paav, lemon wedge and finely chopped onion.

ReplyDeleteVaidehi, you’re very talented. You make complex recipes rather simpler and less time consuming. I made this Pav Bhaji at my place the other evening and it turned out to be very delicious. I tried cooking with Gowardhan Ghee as we don’t use vegetable oil. It was rich and everyone enjoyed it. Please do post more such recipes. I am looking forward to it. Thank you
