Spinach Pasta in Marathi
Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1.5 cups Penne Pasta
1 cup chopped spinach
2 tsp garlic, chopped
6-7 mushrooms, sliced
1.5 cup hot milk
2 tsp maida (all purpose flour)
1 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Italian seasoning
Grated cheese
Red chili flakes
Method:
1) Boil sufficient water to cook the pasta. Add 1 tsp salt. Once water starts boiling add pasta and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain the water.
2) Make white sauce. Heat butter on low heat. Add maida and saute for 20-30 seconds. Add hot milk and stir vigorously to avoid lumps. Add pepper powder and salt.
3) Take another pan. Heat olive oil. Saute garlic and sliced mushrooms. Saute till mushrooms shrink in size. Then add spinach and cook well. Add little salt while cooking.
4) Add cooked pasta and white sauce. Cook over medium heat. Mix well. Add italian seasoning and salt (if required). Mix well.
5) Transfer into a serving plate. Sprinkle some italian seasoning, grated cheese and chili flakes.
Tips:
1) You may blanch the spinach and puree it.

DeleteParmesan cheese makes any pasta more flavorful. I dint have it so I used amul cheese.
