Onion Raita in Marathi
Time: 10 minutes
3/4 cup Raita
Ingredients:
2 medium onions, finely chopped
3/4 cup yogurt
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1 green chili, crushed
2 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
1/4 tsp ginger, grated
Salt and sugar to taste
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Method:
1) Immerse the chopped onion into cold water for 10-15 minutes. Drain and squeeze out all the water.
2) Mix cumin powder, green chili, cilantro, ginger, salt, sugar and lemon juice with yogurt. Also add chopped onion. Mix well and serve.
This raita tastes nice along with any paratha.
