Curry-leaves chutney in Marathi
Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 3/4 cup chutney
Ingredients:
1 tbsp oil
1 cup curry leaves
1/4 cup Dry coconut (grated and roasted)
2 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp jaggery or Sugar
salt
Method:
1) Heat 1 tbsp oil. Add curry leaves. Saute over low heat. Stir well until crispy.
2) Then add dry roasted coconut. Roast over low heat for few minutes. Turn off the heat.
3) Let the mixture cool down a bit. Grind coarsely along-with chili powder, jaggery/ sugar and salt.
Tips:
1) You may add 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds, 1/4 tsp cumin seeds for more flavor. Add little bit amchoor powder for slight tangy flavor.
