Mushroom Soup in Marathi

Time: 10 to 15 minutes
Serving: 1


Ingredients:
8 to 10 button mushrooms (medium size) (1 cup slices)
1 tsp butter
1-2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tbsp chopped onion
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup milk (or little more)
2 tsp all purpose flour
1 tbsp cream
1/8 tsp black pepper powder
3 pinches dried basil + dried oregano + garlic powder (I used small packet of domino's pizza's Italian seasoning)
Salt to taste

Method:
1) Mix milk and all purpose flour. Make a smooth mixture.
2) Heat butter into a pan. Saute garlic cloves. Add onion, saute till translucent. Then add mushroom slices and 1/4 tsp salt. Saute for a minute.
3) When mushroom slices shrink, add water. When water starts boiling, add milk and flour mixture (stir it well before adding). Simmer over low heat. Stir well to prevent lumps. After 2 minutes, add cream.
4) Simmer for couple of minutes. If you find the soup very thick, add little milk or water.
5) Add salt to taste, seasoning, and black pepper powder.
Serve hot.
