Carrot Kheer in Marathi

Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 5 to 6


Ingredients:
1/2 Kg Carrots
1 Liter Milk
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp ghee
2 tbsp Pistachio, almond and Cashew pieces

Method:
1) Wash and peel carrots. Take a heavy bottom pan. Add ghee and saute grated carrots. Put a lid on and cook carrots on low heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
2) When carrots become little soft, add milk and and boil for few minutes. Then add sugar and dry fruits and simmer till it reaches to your desired consistency.
3) Add cardamom powder and Stir well.
Serve warm or cold. Both ways it tastes delicious.
